Leaving the SEC to go to the Big 11.

Great, Tubby, way to help things.

    Any speculation on his replacement?

ESPN indicated that the Gonzaga HC and the Notre Dame HC were the prime targets of UK at the moment.

Well, if he wanted to end his very successful coaching career in a high-profile position...Larry Brown sure makes sense here (unless he's already set on joining MJ and coaching the Bobcats next year).

I don't think UK basketball has quite sunk to the depths attained by Bama football, so I'd expect this to attract some very good candidates. Billy Gillespie (who's a damn good coach) would make more sense if he wasn't coaching in Texas. He's Texas born and bred, and already has a big conference gig...why give that up? It'd be one thing if he was at some mid-major outside of Texas, but he's not.

Calipari would do well there, too. He's cut from the Pitino cloth---northeast guy who can recruit well, puts solid teams on the court.

Wow! That's a lot of words to say "They get Kreuger and we get stuck with Brady"
