thanks dheadtiger, good to know we occasionally agree on something. Should be a good game. I hope Skyler Green plays.... truth is, as bad as I don't want him to contribute to an LSU victory, he worth the price of admission. He's a fun guy to watch play when he's in the right spot.

On a more serious note, what's your opinion regarding potential wet weather? IMO it would be an old-school classic match - mudding it out in the trenches. I'm prolly in the minority in my enjoyment of those games.

I hate wet weather games period!!!! They tend to be sloppy and turnover prone. I would rather see a wide open shoot out with skilled players being able to do their best rather than slopping and splashing around with a trimmed down offensive playbook.

I like watching other games played in the slop, just not LSU. The rain does not bother me as for having to sit in it though. I sat out in it for the opener while it got postponed for an hour. It was so damn hot before, I was glad it was raining.

What would your expectations be ... IF the "Barn" had won the NC :hihi:

We couldn't even get your head into this forum ... and would have to move all sharp objects away from your immediate area ... in the event of an "asplosion"

As far as the OSU game ... weather and coaching (because of lack of bad weather preparation and game plan modification) played a huge part in the lack of Tiger Offensive production ... but Champs find a way to win and LSU did ... much to your chagrin ... I'll bet you were screaming for OSU to knock off LSU, just like you'll be screaming Saturday ... midway into the first quarter ... :D

Don't ratphuck Boise St. ... longest win streak in America ... Waccing away and moving up ... and teams don't play well the week after a tough physical beating from LSU ... now, just why is that??? hmmmmmmmm

Both QBs LSU has faced had tremendous passing games ... everybody raved about DA Anderson ... and this kid from ASU led the Indians to over 400 yards offense against Missouri ... most by passing ... and both QB's have been contained by LSU's defense ...

HOW DOES THIS BODE FOR CAMPBELL ... THINK HE'LL PERFORM AGAINST LSU ... :dis: BETTER GET OFF TO OZ QUICK AND SEE THE WIZARD :hihi:

Many posters were surprised from the close game vs. OSU and predicted LSU would not cover against ASU ... Not here

Forces of God aside ... the monsoon before OSU ... and IVAN now ... LSU has too much speed, strength and coaching for Auburn ... and you know it. But still you're here ...

sniffing and sniffing and rooting round in our garbage pails looking for a snack of HOPE to bring back to your forums. :dis:

So, you stand by your assertion that it will be a close, hard fought game ...

Will it ... can your Defense hold LSU to 10 points? :dis:

Here's your ray of hope ... Sunshine ... there's a bad boy named IVAN out there ... I predict the game won't even take place ...

it's a 50/50 chance now ... look at Florida ... they cancelled for that wimp Frances ... This bastid is a Killer ... 160+ Cat 5 cyclone from hell ... kinda like LSU's Dee when they get riled up :hihi:

Well, given the loss of some very important players (Mauck, Clayton, Lavalais....or in our case Thomas, Dansby, Torbor and McNeil), I'd be a bit more apprehensive, but hopeful.

    Lovely baseless assumption there.

I pull for the SEC....and I don't give up on my team.

I think it's more likely that they were worn out from going into OT. Seems like the Beavs were winning the physical parts of the game (O and D lines).

The same Mizzou that's been outed as a pretender by Troy? Impressive.

Campbell will be Campbell. Sometimes he's good, sometimes he's not. Much like Marcus Randall. Campbell has, however, faced down some very good teams and won....repeatedly. What is Randall's track record again?

It was a foregone conclusion that LSU was going to cover against ASU. Obviously the OSU performance was cause for concern, but no one seriously thought that ASU would give LSU a run for its money.

That remains to be seen. You got us last year, no doubt. You got us good. It's a new year, however, and you have what amounts to a new team. Their performance in the face of a hostile SEC crowd against a very talented team remains to be seen.

Yes, I think they can. Will they? I don't know. I think that our Defense is a bit better than OSU and ASU. I also think that our Offense is a bit more potent than those two teams as well. Your defense, however, is very impressive. I expect a low scoring affair...something in the 17-14 range.

Ivan represents nothing to me....not hope, not doom, nothing in a football sense. I like our chances now, I like our chances on Nov. 6. Let's just play the game.
