Just like I said, I've seen too many people try to organize some mass retaliation over something they felt was wrong only to have it fall apart. Many people will gripe and complain about conditions around them, but when it comes time to put up or shut up, most shut up. When they start to think about their paycheck being interrupted over someone else's plight they usually back down. Take Tracy Claeys as your example, he sided with the butt hurt players and lost his job. Most will think about that before they risk their families well being over a silly dispute. Coach O is the man at the wheel and will do what he thinks is best and really it's not for some high school coach to second guess those decisions. If they were as good as O they would have his job.
LSU is in good hands with AL Jones as the coach. Also I hear Juluke is very pleased about how it went down, especially financially. He is better off now.
Exact same thing I was told. And it wasn't St. Aug coaches or staff even that kicked up the furor. St. Aug has a very aggressive alumni network that tends to be pretty powerful within it's niche community. They may have stepped beyond that niche on this one though...
Right, that's what I was going to say. Dude didn't get fired and is pulling down 200k+ a year, so why are they pissed? He's not.
Because of the typical liberal thinking these days where people think they are owed something even if they didn't earn it.
