If you think Joseph(black coach please go quite the angry black coaches in NO) is going to work, you must be bat-shiiii crazy. This is bigger than you think. Luckily Coach O has another plan that will be in effect on Sunday.
If you think a little butt hurt over a coach being let go will stop a recruit from going to LSU you're crazy! LSU is the path to the NFL, which is what every kid dreams of, and before you say Bama, they can't and won't sign every kid from Louisiana. I've seen many people try to rally the troops in the business world, and yes this is a business, only to see it fail. People do what's best for them and as much as they may say they care about others, they really don't. These kids and their families will do what's best for them regardless of what LSU did to Craig, an AU grad. As much as Les was loved around here you don't see anyone boycotting over him, so it's not going to happen over these two. A free degree from LSU or a multi million dollar contract from the NFL will bring more recruits than these high school coaches.
The truth is that some of the St. Aug people are the ones mad about it because their guy is out. In N.O. it is usually the St. Aug vs the other N.O. high schools. In the Dinardo days there was a fallout between St. Aug and LSU and even Saban had to pay for it and always had difficulty recruiting the school. But if they think this is going to be a big boycott they are mistaken.
Doesn't sound like it's the St Aug folks. https://www.seccountry.com/lsu/another-new-orleans-high-school-withdraws-boycott-meeting
There are some St. Aug folks who were trying to get this started and failed...to many other schools would't follow the lead by a certain few. It is not all of St. Aug higher ups by any means.
