1. Yeah like Salendra who went bankrupt as 3 to 4 other "clean" energy companies we totally subsidized? Clean energy is a wastfull bullshit industry.
  2. Ha, you mocked me for asking if we should incentivize businesses to stay in US. Straight out of your playback. Imply something then back off when you're called on it.
  3. Okay, so how do we decide what companies/industries to subsidize. It's a tough questio . Obviously it's a cost to benefit equation but how do we measure or predict. If Trump can figure that out, he'll be wildly successful.
  4. That is changing sport. What happened with Solandra had little to do with clean energy but was crony capitalism at its worst. Our current idiot in charge was paying back people he owed.

The new technology and processes has made clean energy much more economical. Don't misunderstand it isn't and likely will never completely replace fossil fuels but the balance will shift significantly. I work in the electrical industry mostly supplying equipment to oil and gas companies. I see what is happening in the engineering and development of these products, wind turbines, solar, batteries.

They are now talking about peak demand for oil rather than peak oil. Shell, ExxonMobil and the others are becoming energy companies. It matter much more that we have a dense low cost supply of power than how it's produced. Over the next 20-50 years we'll see a sea change of how power is produced, transmitted, stored and used. It WON'T be because of government mandates but because it will be a better mouse trap. If you stand in the way of progress you'll get run over.
  5. Look up the definition of mocking. If that's what you got from it, go back to your safe space.
  6. And as always. You have yet to give any facts to support anything.
  7. Still using the word wrong.
  8. So why wouldn't other companies just hold jobs hostage to get sweetheart deals?
  9. Solyndra....just sayin.
  10. Why is the US one of the most taxed and regulated corporate environments in the world???
