Seriously, all visitors from Arabic countries should be tracked, as well as visitors from predominately Muslim non-Arabic countries like Chechnya or Indonesia. As well as anyone from anywhere whose social media profiles adds up to suspicion of possible terrorism or just plain crazy. Their cell phones should be monitored while in the USA as well. Nobody from these areas should be allowed to carry cash. Turn over their cash and be issued a prepaid Visa in the amount of cash they bring in. That way all their purchases can be tracked and the sellers of the tools of terrorism don't accept plastic. You shouldn't have to show an ID to buy a cheap cellphone at a convenience or Dollar store or to rent an apartment. If the apartment complex owner wants to ask for an ID that's his business but it shouldn't be a law. Of course if you get arrested you have already broken some law. Your solution would punish poor Americans who live beneath the radar from travel, any kind of work or communication.

Pinko liberal. It punishes nobody. We have to have ID for these things already, only it does not show citizenship, which is fucking easy to do. The passport card already exists and it only need be made mandatory like a social security card. Cracking down on aliens is going to take some goddamn effort and carrying a half-ounce plastic ID card is a damn small sacrifice. You republicans always want something for nothing. You want roads and armies and government services but you don't want to pay any taxes for it. You want to be tough on illegals but you object it makes it any harder on themselves. You want to be tough on violent crime, but you object to the most practical ways to keep guns out of the hands of criminal, aliens, children, and nut jobs. You want to be tough on terrorists, but you object to the government covertly looking for the ones that are here. Republicans want to go to war with anybody they dislike but have no idea how to wage one.
I already carry a half-ounce plastic ID card. It's called a driver's license and is accepted even in places that don't take American Express. There is already too much information about us freely available to any government agency. And to private companies. If this doesn't bother you then why are you paranoid about having a free email address? You're not really afraid you are going to buy something you don't want just because somebody sends you an email.
