While I am against the intrusion of the privacy of American citizens Christe's idea to track foreigners sounds like a good idea. Aliens don't have the same rights as us and shouldn't expect them. If such a system had been in place in 2001 the World Trade Center might still be standing.
The government makes me wear a trackable badge that must be worn visibly plus scanned in and out any time I enter a government secured facility. I don't have to do it, but it's a condition of my employment and I agree to do it. The foreigners could be given the same choice, be tagged or stay home. I'm also for the sterilization of democrats. If Deez Nutz gets caught up in an email scandal I'm going to replace him on the ticket.

Well, Christie is foolish to think aliens can be tracked like a Fed-Ex package. But they damn sure can be tracked better than they are. And whenever an alien overstays his visa, a warrant for his arrest should go out immediately. The easiest and most effective way to combat illegal overstays is to issue Passport cards to all Americans. It has a secure chip and is positive identification of US citizenship. Just make a law that you have to swipe a Passport card or a Green card anytime you board an airplane, apply for a job, apply for benefits, check into a hotel, buy a cellphone, rent a car, register to vote, apply for a drivers license, buy a gun, buy a car, open a bank account, rent an apartment, apply for a loan, or get arrested for anything at all. It immediately would flag illegals to the police, the border patrol, and the INS to come pick them up. Illegals would be able to do essentially nothing in this country. They couldn't travel, work, communicate, or function very long before they get caught. It removes the incentive to come here illegally. We already have to show ID for most of these things, so just make it an ID that also verifies citizenship and you eliminate a ton of problems.
