See, that bothers me. I have no problem with the "separation of church and state" theory, but these days it seems like any expression of, or even a reference to, faith is a red flag.
It's a red flag to me because how do we know this person won't put God's law above the country's law.
I just looked at a $5 bill. It still says "In God We Trust" on it. How long before they change it to "In an undefined deity, spirit or none at all depending on your personal beliefs We Trust"
I think a concrete effort to remove that simple 4-word phrase is coming, and its going to be the Confederate flag argument times 500 when it does.
