Actually, the government is required to do a bit more than that. In Brady v Maryland, the SC held that the Constitution requires the prosecution, which holds all the cards in a criminal case, to give the defense all evidence favorable to the defendant, whether it impeaches a witness, mitigates punishment or shows his innocence. Indeed, the burden is on prosecutors to find anything in the possession of the government that is favorable to the defense. Grassley has been asking for 302's for over a year. A judge has ordered Mueller to turn over all 302's as they relate to Flynn but he has not complied. And then he turns around and uses that "blank space" of information to pressure Flynn. The only 302 Mueller has provided is the notes from Strzok whom we already know vowed to stop Trump no matter what it took. It's judicial slight of hand and everyone is doing what they are programmed to.....look the other way.
These are true statements: Trumps dirtier than a used tampon. Neither the democrats nor the republicans have the countries best interest at heart.
The investigation was started because our intelligence services were monitoring Russians known to be engaged in efforts to spy on us and they picked up transmissions between said Russians and members of the Trump orbit and campaign......lot's of them. This was long before Trump was elected so the premise that it all began with the belief "that Trump must have stolen the election..." just doesn't cut the mustard. As far as evidence goes, no good prosecutor would show his hand before going to trial. Can you name me any other investigation that you know of where the prosecutor lays out his evidence publicly? So, we will see in the coming months what evidence Mueller has as he files charges. This isn't opposite of American Justice. This is American Justice at it's finest, doing what they are supposed to do: enforce our laws and rules. Trump isn't exempt from this if he is found to be guilty.
because no one has claimed that Trump broke a law right? is that your argument? it isn't enough that 17 of our intelligence agencies agree that the Russians meddled in our elections and that said intelligence agencies picked up correspondence between Russians who we were spying on and the Trump campaign/orbit?
No they weren't and stop lying. The IG report cleared anyone of wrongdoing in the investigation. Further, you don't have a shred of proof to defend this except that some right winger told you so. No one was given fake information to spy on Trump, nor any of his minions. Look, they were communicating with known Russian spies. Why wouldn't our intelligence agencies want to monitor that?
LOL....that's how investigations work genius. they go on until they are complete. are you advocating they end the investigation because Trump wants them to? isn't that the kind of political reasoning that you say you so ardently despise? what gives?
