Easy one here. He was named (Individual 1) in the SDNY charge and conviction of Michael Cohen as the person who order Cohen to pay them off. This is the crime Cohen pled to and ipso facto its recognized in Federal court that he violated campaign finance law. He hasn’t been tried or convicted because it’s justice department policy not to indict a sitting president. However it is a very impeachable event. Apples and oranges. Past campaign finance violations are late reports or incorrect reports which are generally bookkeeping errors. They have been penalized by fines on the campaign.

Cohen's opinion does not make it true. Cohen also admitted he used his personal funds. It's a he said she said. Cohen is also a liar. Kind of like Trump. Yet you guys believe him now!!!
Yes he owned the businesses before he was elected. I have no problem with his continuing to own them and make profit from them. However it appears he’s using his office to build his business and could be letting business concerns dictate his policy decisions. For example, the Saudis have pored hundreds of thousands of dollars into his business while he defends of the murder of Kasshogi and the war crimes against the Houties. He’s lied about his business ties to Russia while making policy decisions that favor them and spouting their propaganda. BTW these issues are what need to be determined by impeachment and trial.
Actually it’s much more than Cohen’s testimony. There are documents that support the fact so it’s NOT he said/she said. The courts don’t rely on the word of a liar without significant supporting evidence. If it wasn’t a crime why didn’t Cohen fight it?
