To whom? You make no f'ing sense. She did her job, just as she does ALL her jobs.... vigorously and competently.
Nervous laughter about the circumstances of the case. She was not laughing at the victim... AND YOU KNOW IT.
Really? What "vict" are you talking about? Juannita Broaddrick? Check the fact check sites who rate your claim FALSE. They can find no evidence that any such thing ever occurred. It's just your Republican smear meme. Not that Ms. Broaddrick was a rape victim in the first place.
Because Hillary got a rapist to plead out? Neato. and she did shame her. Claiming she wanted it. Claiming She fantasized about older men. I wonder if there was ever any proof of that.
it was her job to make a defense for the guy, no matter how deplorable his actions were. no one likes rape or rapists, not if you care about basic human decency. she didn't have to like the guy to make a defense for him legally.
I didn't leave it out....it was inconsequential to the discussion. You already made the claim on your earlier post and I didn't dispute it. Nowhere have I said that she WANTED to take the case. Let me make it crystal clear for you. She did not have to shut her practice because she didn't have one. She was a teacher at the University and was attempting to start a legal clinic there to serve those who can't afford representation. It was through THAT affiliation that a judge put her on the case. She wanted to build the clinic's reputation, so she took the case. She had no practice to lose and was not in danger if being disbarred. Being held in contempt is a hurdle but not an insurmountable one. When you choose that side of the law, it's a fact that you will be working to keep guilty people out of jail, including scumbags like this. I would never choose to be a lawyer but again, were it me, I would rather lose my practice, lose my license, leave the state, than to knowingly put a child rapist back on the street in short time. I would never put a 12-year old's credibility on trial, nor would I suggest that she/he had sexual fantasies as part of a defense. That's what you call knowing your limitations and personal standards. I know where hers are and they don't jibe with mine. Take it any way you like. Legitimate....interesting choice because what she did may have been legit but at what cost to the child in this case? I hope she thinks it was worth it because one day, we all have to pay the piper. And I'm still waiting for you to acknowledge you were wrong when you said he wasn't guilty.
