Whatever race I was wouldn't trade one should be proud of ones race. I am white proud to be white wouldn't trade and most importantly not quilty to be white. BTW what I saw in Charlottesville last weekend was 80% white Antifa guys, why are we talking race?
I would not trade. Having said that, I lived in Japan for three tears, and the Philippines for two. I was a minority for five straight years. Made it through, but spent a lot of time acutely aware of my situation/environment. I was uncomfortable twice. Once on a subway coming home from Tokyo. I was on a car with three elderly Japanese males. I was not afraid, but their piercing stares made me uneasy. They never took their eyes off me. The other time in the Philippines, I was the only American within dozens of miles. On a small bus, I could hear mummers and see nudges. Thought something was up, but nothing happened. I was uncomfortable being the minority. I try to keep that in mind. And I don't forget it.
Where & when were you stationed in Japan? Fuchu?? I was at Yokota from 1970 - 72. I retired in 1986 and in civilian job I used to go TDY to space surveillance radar we had at San Miguel in the PI.
Dude, lil tip to protect the little sanity you have left. If you don't like politics on a football forum, STFO. bwhaaa
I'll let you know when I want your advice. Don't hold your breath. On second thought. Hold your breath.
Jefferson nor Washington were ever traitors, guilty of treason and sedition or waged war against the United States of America. Trump needs a history lesson or two.
