    so we should leave troops defending the kurds for as long as we have had troops in germany and south korea?

    seems like those places have a local population that is more stable and aligned with our interests

    Keep in mind, the Kurds were doing most of the fighting not us. So, no we should leave troops 'WORKING WITH' the Kurds for as long as it benefits us. And i don't know what that time frame is but it certainly is longer than now. Because the Big Orange one fucked us; and we won't know it until we get morning sick and the rabbit dies. As it will.

    5, 50, 150 it wont be different. Those people have be at odds with each other since abraham's time. If they start shit again we obliterate them from the sky. No need to have our guys getting killed there. If 18 straight years is not sufficient how much is?
