Whether they do or not, Trump ‘s abandonment of the Kurds in this manner is wrong in every way. He pulled the rug out from under the most loyal allies next to Israel exposing them to massacre. If you think that is the right thing to do then you’d better look into your heart and soul again.

Go peddle your hatred and misinformation about Trump and conservatives to NPR and CNN you have a slim audience here. Look into our souls? What BS! Look into your soul as an American and tell us that the democrats are good for this country and Trump is not.

This is 100% on Obama. He is the one that decided to arm and train these fools. He didn't even attempt to work with Turkey in the beginning. This is on him.

Further, TURKEY shot down a Russian JET IN 2015, yet, everyone in the media is telling me Trump is bowing down to Russia again. LOL

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-34912581

"Turkey is an industrial partner in the F-35 program and is scheduled to purchase 100 of the aircraft. The first of Turkey’s F-35s are ready for delivery. But Turkey is also scheduled to receive soon the first components of the Russian S-400 system it has purchased, which American military officials have said is incompatible with Turkish possession of the F-35; The fear is that details of the fighter’s stealth features and performance will be revealed to the Russians who will help maintain the S-400. "

Further, we have nukes stationed in Turkey, let us not act like we should have ever taken the Kurds side in the 1st place.

Me thinks there is a long game here?

    F-35 program:

    http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/tu...fighter-jets-presidential-spokesperson-146471

"“We have not given up on the F-35s, it is not easy to remove Turkey from that program either. We believe that the crisis will be resolved sooner or later,” İbrahim Kalın told reporters following a Cabinet meeting at the presidential complex. "

    "
Turning to ongoing efforts to establish a safe zone east of the Euphrates River in northern Syria, Kalın said if Turkey encounters any stalling or misconduct by the U.S., Turkey could set up the zone by itself.

“We cannot confirm the information coming from the U.S. side that the field is completely safe. We need to confirm it through our own sources,” he said, alluding to Turkish demands that the zone be rid of the PKK/YPG, a terrorist group the U.S. has sometimes allied itself with.

On Aug. 7, Turkish and U.S. military officials agreed to set up a safe zone in northern Syria and develop a peace corridor to facilitate the movement of displaced Syrians who want to return home. They also agreed to establish a joint operations center.

The agreement also envisaged setting up necessary security measures to address Turkey's security concerns, including clearing the zone of the terrorist YPG/PKK.

Turkey has complained of previous U.S. stalling over the PKK/YPG leaving the northern Syrian town of Manbij.

In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU- has been responsible for the deaths of some 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants. The PKK/YPG is its Syrian branch. "

Tell me how one more of our Joe's dying there is going to solve the underlying problem with that shithole. Or better yet tell that to their mother or wife or daughter.

do you think we should protect these kurds forever? forever sending americans into danger for some folks that live in a really terrible dangerous area?

seems like the UN should take care of things like preventing genocide

Again there’s a vast difference between forever and giving one day’s notice. There’s a difference between asking someone to defend themselves and standing aside when civilians are being bombed and murdered.
Trump pulled the rug out from under the best allies in this effort against ISIS.
In addition he’s practically guaranteed that 11,000 ISIS fighters the Kurds were holding will be released to take up arms against us.
This fails on every level. His actions are exposing the United States to danger. That you all condone it sickens me. I’m done with you.
