Ditto It's more reasonable on this forum. On the Duck sites, fans are beginning to turn on each other. Me, I'm hoping for the best, while I play with my avatar.
i dont see any difference in how Oregon and USC are treating this so far. Oregon keeps coming out and denying they did anything wrong, which is pretty shocking with all the evidence in the news articles out there (even before this new one with Lyle's interview).
yeah, if (and that's a big if), if Oregon told the NCAA they might have commited a violation and they want to be fully cooperative, throw themselves at the mercy of the NCAA, etc... then sure, all these repeated denials of wrongdoing from the Oregon AD and Chip Kelly won't look so bad if i was an Oregon fan, i'd be furious with our coach and AD repeatedly claiming that Oregon didn't do anything wrong, especially in light of all the evidence. i'd be wanting to hear them say stuff like "we are investigating this matter thoroughly and cooperating fully with the NCAA"
Press releases aren't relevant USC never cooperated, fought every step of the way Off topic: LaSalleAve, any way we can talk privately?
the public statements Oregon have made all indicate they they are being uncooperative and that they are fighting this every step of the way. yeah, they might change their tune, and maybe their lawyer can talk some sense into them, but Oregon hasn't changed their tune yet
Did not realize the academic bar was so low at Oregon, one player leaves the Texas HS moves across the state line because he can not pass the mandated State graduation Math exam. Plus players that left other D1 programs, passed Oregon transfer requirements after being rejected by other D1 schools.
i'd think they only need to suspend those Lyles-associated recruits that were recruits the year that Oregon started paying Lyles, such as Seastrunk. for recruits that Lyles helped bring to Oregon in the years before Oregon ever started talking to Lyles about paying him, those guys should all be legit and good to go, including LMJ
