Rhetoric. That's just what I call the rigid, lock-step, right-wing ideologues around here who delight in calling me a liberal Obama butt kisser but fail to make any substantive argument based on my comments. I mean, I took the time to lay out the geopolitical reasons that America is conducting it's strategies in the Middle East, which go back a long way. Didn't even mention Obama. And they come back with this, "I bet if Obama joined the tea party you'd explain how great a move it was and how brilliant he was." No thought whatsoever. Blind ideology.
Then you didn't read my post at all, did you? Not one Obama quote in there. Or perhaps you just didn't understand it. I'm saying the things that politicians don't say. But keen observers do. I really don't listen to politicians much. But I read a lot about geopolitical reality from the people who study it.
At this point, our help should not come at the expense of American lives. I'm done with that. None of these things can be separated on the battlefield. We are, in essence, in a proxy war with Russia. This will come to no good. The time for "all in" has long since passed. Obama missed that opportunity. He has let the scourge of ISIS flourish for years while trying to be the ultimate world conciliator. Well, my dad always told me the quickest way to failure is trying to please everyone. That said, Obama's current strategy is useless. What does it serve, really? You have said for months now that ISIS was nothing, a rag tag group of idiots who were being contained. But months later, we are sending Americans to deal with it. I'm sick of it. The locals will NEVER step up because they are inherent COWARDS. No more American casualties for people who don't care and don't value life. Phuck the goatherders.
The point is you are always in line with Obama, regardless of how obviously wretched he is.......the same was referenced by a previous poster with Obama joining the Tea Party comment, your cult like devotion to him while twisted and anti american as it may be almost admirable.....almost.
