We don't make it a habit to watch Tennessee but our backs break 3 tackles before they leave the huddle.

Sir, Oregon is not the only team with depth.

Not to beat a dead horse, but that SAME Tenn defense that played 14 players on the most important play of the game against us.

That same Tenn defense that gave up this 83 yard TD run to our 230 pound QB.

Please, your win over Tennessee is hardly anything to be proud of. They do not represent the SEC. They are a middle of the pack team.

Dude, you think you have to sell us a Heismann finalist? And ON ONE RUN? :insane:

Like I said, show me some highlights. Show us some of that speed you rave so much about against a real defense. And I use the term real very loosely with Auburn's D. They have an awful secondary.

Who's talking about the NFL? We are talking about 40 yard times and the NFL combine has the most accurate times. The point he's making is you're giving us numbers that don't mean much unless they do it an official time.

Depth is great, when you can substitute. If Oregon is on the ball as soon as it's set, defenses don't have time to substitute.
Trust me when I tell you, they don't have time. Especially from the red zone. That's why so many teams faked injuries against Oregon last year. ASU was the worst. They had 11 "injuries". Their safety was "injured" 7 times!

The reason ASU started faking injuries was Oregon's last drive. They went 80 yards in 8 plays in 1:15. That's under 10 seconds average snap to snap. They couldn't get subs in, or change defensive packages. Nothing like having your dime package on the field inside the 5 yards line! Happened to Washington too.

We all have our favorite places to get our times. Track times are electronically timed, so they are as accurate as NFL combine times. If you don't want to believe them, fine by me.

Bottom line is, they're fast... VERY fast. LMJ says he put on 15 lbs over the off season, without losing his speed. That'll make him more durable, as well as fast.

I haven't seen him on the field yet, but from his media day interview, he looked like he bulked up a bit.

    Yeah, you're absolutely correct there.
