Someone should ask Mr. Alberts what he thought about Georgia last year on their way to the SEC Championship. If I recall Georgia pulled at least three games out of their rears......S.Carolina,Alabama, and Auburn are the three that I know of for sure. Winning close games is what Championship teams do, unless you are LSU I would guess?
I can't complain about Trev because for some reason he loves us. Always good things to say. Mary May? Oh...don't get me started. I have the Rome/Everett incident saved on my computer. I love it. Rome looks like such a punk. I think his radio show is interesting...but too childish, IMO.
Actually, Everett was gaining a reputation for having happy feet in the pocket and being afraid to take a hit. People would call him Chris Everett. Rome called him Chris and Everett warned him not to do it again and he did. Then the table went over. Unfortunately for the Saints, Chris Everett's reputation was well founded. As for Rome, he's a brotha in a honky's body.
Saban, Yeah... That big NFL Lineman that came out earlier this year was one of the biggest coming out stories so far in pro sports, especially the NFL. Greg Louganis is the other one. There are a lot more gay athletes than you think. http://abcnews.go.com/sections/GMA/GoodMorningAmerica/GMA021030Gay_NFL_player.html Speaking of Louganis, he put the moves on a very popular former LSU player that was a starter (I won't name him) back in 1985 at the National Sports Festival in Baton Rouge. This was waayy before anyone ever knew about Louganis or his sexuality. My dad and I were friends with this player (We all worked for the NSF) and he was a good looking and built dude so it was easy to see why Greg, being gay that is, put the moves on him. The LSU player told my dad and I about it. I was surprised the player hadn't tried to beat the crap out of Louganis. But he was a good guy and politely denied Greg's offer. Had it been some players of that era, they may have gay bashed Greg. Anyway back to Rome, Jim Rome was trying to break the story, or confession, on Everett. At the time (And even today) that would have been a huge story, an NFL QB coming out of the closet. Needless to say Everett didn't come out and Rome got Punk'd on National TV. Everett didn't take offense to the Chris reference because of his happy feet, it was for *another* reason. That is why Everett went off like he did. Just because you're gay don't mean you can't fight. I have seen some gigantic gay dudes in the French Quarter before that could whip my straight a$$, and I'm 6'3" and 215lbs.
today on Gameday Trev still blames Georgia losing b/c Bennett missed 3 field goals; however, he did go on to say that Saban has implemented a solid defense and we are a good squad.... DUH...#7 in the nation 4-0...i think my baby cousin could have made that analysis
