Child porn is a big problem unless you do not think over 69,000 cases of child porn per year in the US is small potatoes. I shouldn't have to explain how or where child porn comes from..... Damn near half a million kids are reported missing per year. Over 400K...... And we over here talking about COVID. While the majority are runaways etc, the FBI estimates 1/6 get tied up into sex trafficking. So around 65K per year. So sex trafficking is LESS about a white van snatching kids and more about misplaced kids being taken advantage of. We could blame parents, however with the recent surge in TDS among adults maybe we can pin this one on Trump as well.... Its FBI data. Go look it up while in your bubble.
That’s not to say any girl or woman caught up and trafficked isn’t a tragedy. It is. However the anti trafficking ads you see on TV during Super Bowl et are a big money scam between the unlikely allies, feminists, cops and evangelicals. The real victims are independent sex workers especially those at the lower end. They are chewed up and spit out by those “saviors “ with no care about the real impact.
That 400,00 number is bullshit. That’s a city the size of Baton Rouge every year and over 1,00/ day. . That’s a number put out by advocates with no basis in fact. It’s used to justify budgets and made up from whole cloth.
child porn is about bad parents and creepy uncles. i am talking about slavery and trafficking, thats the myth. it doesnt really happen. winston mentioned the superbowl myth and he is right, thats a myth repeated every year. its jjust outrage porn. people love those stories. its like when you see a story of a person torture and kill a dog, people are crazy for it. they dont care at all that 10 black guys got killed in two weeks or whatever, if some asshole tortures a dog its shared by every white person on facebook along with fantasies of how they would torture the human the exact same way they did the dog and see how they like it. some stoies really strike a chord with us. sometimes those stories are true. but in the particular case of sex trafficking it isnt. it just kinda lights a fire with people so the stories get around. mostly white women. the same ones who listen to true crime podcasts and read 50 shades of grey.
