I completely agree. My friends and I at work talked about how our defense didn't move and react the way it when Jack was back there directing everything.

Florida is gonna be the toughest. Uga will be tough but we're in their heads and that'll be the difference. Florida has been a mental block for us from way back and we're not over it yet. Leak is awesome and will do nothing but get better. Our awesome defense couldn't even rattle the young man last year. Make no doubt about it boys the gators will be our holy grail.

but you know what.....i really belive this schedule lends itself out to a perfect run.....not to sound arrogant......but i think it does.....there are only a couple of hard games as y'all have noted.....get those right and let the strength of schedule critics chime in.....

I would never expect a perfect run, hell last year we were a few seconds and a couple of plays from losing 2 games, so I'm never overconfident, always a little worried.

Hunt missing the UF game did hurt us, especially on the TD pass over the middle but we missed that play all year long. And of course he couldn't have scored and the offense was non existant for the most part.

I believe FL is the toughest game on the schedule. We are in GA's heads! They have to be nervous about playing us. After this year, all the pressure will be on them, and playing at home will add to that pressure. Of course the fans won't admit this, they will brag and yell revenge, but the players know they got manhandled.

Florida is the game I worry about. I start worrying about playing them next year as soon as the game is over this year. They are why we don't need to play an OK in our off season. I worry about Florida because since the 80's they are the best. I will quit worrying about them when I can say, "we are the best, but I remember back when Fl was the best". We are on the right track, but the goal to greatness for LSU football goes right through Gainsville! I think that they are the most important game of the year!

That's one of the reasons I like having UF on our annual schedule. And I love having OU on our OOC schedule if it works out. I want LSU to play the best, not be afraid to play them.

I don't buy into that crap about hard to beat teams twice and thrice. We heard all that before the SECCG last season, and look how that turned out. Florida still worries me. I think we have UGA's number for the time being.

The hard to win so many games in a row is more than an ESPN cliche - it's like shooting a basketball, if you miss you make changes and try again. I just believe that it's harder for the winning team to maintain form while the other team keeps making changes in their approach and strategy...

Huh? Florida hasn't been the best since the 80's. Spurrier got there around 1990 and they've only got one national title.

That doesn't seem to stop UF from beating UGA every single year. I believe UF has beat UGA the past 9 times(someone correct me if I'm wrong) I think LSU will be just fine against UGA. The pressure is on them to get the monkey off their backs. I say we take them again next season.
