No kidding. You don't say. I'm sure the OSU boards are filled with objective posters that always pick against the buckeyes and slobber over their opponents.

The difference is that I am willing to admit that I think LSU has a very good chance of winning the game but I also think OSU has just as good of a shot. People like Islstl and cristof11 don't even think OSU belongs on the same field as LSU or Auburn or UGA or ole Miss. They are can't conceive that we have the slightest chance in hell of competing in this game or against any SEC opponent for that matter.

Define irony: A Buckeye fan accusing other fans of being biased and irrational.

    Buckeye507, you are Cowherd's raison d'etre.

And how many other times have I tried to discuss football with you and all you can say is something like the Big 10 is weak or you have bad OOC schedule or my personal favorite conversation with you consisted of you telling me that LSU was going to beat up on OSU b/c basically OSU and VT are mirror images of each other. Newsflash VT got beat by freaking Kansas and VT's best opponent in the ACC, BC, almost got taken out by the Big 10 #7 team. You guys should really start getting off the whole Big 10 sucks thing b/c we havent done to bad this year in our bowl games.

Purdue barely beat Central Michigan (not exactly quality but CMU is one of the better mid major teams)

BC barely beat MSU (common you guys can appreciate that we were overmatched in this game and still almost pulled it off)

PSU beat Texas A&M (and even spotted them 14 points in the first quarter)

Ok St. beat Indiana (who cares nobody in the Big Ten hangs their conference pride on IU but its nice to see them in a bowl game.)

Tenn barely beat Wisky (close game that could of gone either way)

scUM beat UF (and if not for 2 fumbles near the goal line the game wouldn't have been that close)

USC trounced Illinios (they would of been better of playing Hawaii and had the USC vs. UGA matchup) Illinios is good but not great and we shouldn't of lost to them at home much like LSU and Arkansas or UK.

That is 3-4 overall and considering 2 of the opponents were clearly overmatched by USC ("all-world") and BC (ACC #2) and a third was the SEC #2 against the Big 10 #4 I would say the Big 10 did pretty well this year as a conference.

OK I'm done with my random ass rant.

I tend to doubt many of them would have agreed with the article, if for nothing else than the writer proved to be a jackass when he wrote this:
If JT had been the focus of the article they probably would have had the same reaction I did...read about 3 paragraphs before closing the window and wondering to myself how this douchelozzle has a job writing about sports.

I haven't particularly enjoyed Istlstl (sp?) or cristof11 myself ;) ...but their opinions are much more interesting than JohnLSU's. I'm not even sure that guy is an LSU fan.

I believe JT is a better coach than LM, and I'd much rather have JT as coach of the Buckeyes than Les (or any other coach out there). That being said, I have seen JT be outcoached before, by Mack Brown  (by a little bit), and by Urban Meyer (by about the length of the space shuttle landing runway), so I have no doubt LM has the ability to outcoach Tressel for one night...I just hope it doesn't happen on Monday.

I'll give you Urban Meyer but Mack Brown? No no no. Mack Brown is average and it was only with the superhuman ability of VY did UT beat us that year and go on to win the NC. VY outplayed us not Mack Brown out coached us. VY is an incredible athlete. And yeah Florida trounced us. Meyer put us in our place like any team should be that gets too overconfident and cocky.

I think most college football fans feel that way about their own coach. Hell OU fans still call Bob Stoops "Big Game" Bob. :hihi:
