Moyers opinions are fine, but I asked you for an example of businesses that democrats are favoring with their policy.

General Electric. Their media company, NBC has kissed Obama's ass for years, they contributed mightlily to his campaign and they stand to make billions from cap and trade.

You said democrats are pro individual. The citing you provide doesn't support that claim. "Farmers, laborers, labor unions, and religious and ethnic minorities" are not individuals.

What you cited supports my claim; both parties are owned by special interests and always have been.

unions and farmers and such are not individuals. yes i know supafan said that already.

those special interests are terrible influences. i have gone off like a lunatic many times on what a crippling force the farming lobby has been on the economy and health of not only americans, but the whole world. and labor unions? those dudes are economy cripplers, trying desperately to send labor overseas. and minorities? they are simply a special interest for free junk from the government. all of those groups are opposed to freedom. they simply want the government to unfairly favor them. and that leads to horrible consequences.

lets all be moderates and accept that both parties are puppets for special interest groups.

yeah, like the right to be taxed hard.

edit: i now realize that my post is redundant and is basically a less succint version of what supafan said above.

OK, that's interesting. Tell me more. So how does cap and trade make them $billions?

That goes without saying, everybody agrees that special interests are all over politics. The point I'm making is that Republicans traditionally favor business special interests. Democrats support unions and farmers because they favor individual special interests. Unions are just collective bargaining for the laborers. Farmers are persons, as opposed to agricultural corporations.

    Ooohh! Good comeback! :rolleye33: :dis:
