11. 1995 Arkansas- our 6th win plus I got to sit in the Stadium Club, which was SOOOO nice.

3. Late 70's or early 80's LSU/Wash game which held the
record for biggest crowd for about 15 years
4. Several games Chris Jacksons freshman year (he was
incredible that year!)

6. The Shaq years especially Jackson/Shaq/Roberts

10 Favorite LSU Sporting Events

All are Football Games....

1. 1997 LSU-Florida - My Date (her first LSU game) and I had 15 yd line seats in the west stands where lsu scored all four TD's. Take home lesson from the game - Goal Posts are heavy.

2. 2001 SEC FB Championship Game - I was in Atlanta already with Saints tickets in my hands. My wife objected only slightly, but that was a good time.

3. 1982 LSU-Florida State - This was time only time I ever threw Oranges on the field. The best football game I ever saw an LSU team play.

4. 2002 LSU at Florida - The most satisfying football experience of my life. It almost made up for BOTH the 2000 and 2001 games.

5. 2002 Nokia Sugar Bowl - Great game by DD and Ro. Josh Reed and Michael Clayton were open all game.

6. 2000 Tennessee at LSU - I still feel bad for #16 (Rashad Baker.) He got held off by Toefield for 20 yards on LaBrandon's 60+ yard TD run. Josh Reed faked him out of his shoes on a swing pass TD run. We was late covering the Robert Royal Post TD in overtime. That's a bad game. He got better, though.

7. 2000 Alabama at LSU - How is this game not ranked higher? 30 years without a home win against the Bammers. That win was not pretty, but it was refreshing.

8. 1998 Georgia at LSU - LSU lost, but this was a damn good game.

9. 1999 Arkansas at LSU - Our first real indication that Rohan Davey was THE MAN. Too bad he got hurt in the offseason.

10. 1978 Tulane at LSU - It was raining. I was 5 and this was my first LSU game.

2. Any LSU/Mississippi State baseball series from the early 90's.
3. 1994-LSU/Southern Cal Regional Final--a homerun derby, on which we came out on top.
4. 1995 Auburn football game.
5. 1995 Independence Bowl.
6. 1997 Independence Bowl (which would have been much better if my evil future mother-in-law hadn't been there. She kept whining and wanting to leave because it was cold--she's from CHICAGO!)
7. 1988 shut-out of A & M.
8. Anytime that Dale Brown and Pitino used to come close to blows on the court.
9. 1997 Florida game.
10. The Arizona basketball game in Shaq's sophomore year.
