Here you go You think about what life was like in WW2 for England, constantly being bombed, the threat of chemical warfare, interestingly enough, the East End of London being torn to bits gave birth to the hard nosed British Gangster. I watched a documentary about how most of the old school British Gangsters were children that came from the East End during WW2, they had to adapt to that hard life of fighting for food, scrounging, and defending themselves. Anyway, world is a scary place, and I've totally derailed this thread.
I got the book. If even 10% true, it makes the reckless spenders of the late 80s mid 90s look like pikers!
