1. I forgot about 24, that probably is my #1.
  2. A few...in no particular order:

    Cheers
    The Cosby Show
    Everybody Loves Raymond
    Frasier
    MASH
    Seinfeld
    Soap

I like comedy on TV. I stick to movies for action and drama.

  3. damn, those seven are probably in my family too.
  4. 1. 24
    2. Lost
    3. Babylon 5
    4. Sopranos (even with the bad ending)
    5. MASH
  5. This is just too hard. On one hand I love shows like Mash but it's just so hard to compare them to stuff like Sopranos and Mythbusters. We need categories.

    Network Sitcoms
    1. Seinfeld
    2. Cheers
    3. Mash
    4. Cosby
    5. Simpsons

    Network Drama
    1. Dukes of Hazard
    2. Quantum Leap
    3. 90210
    4. ER (early years)
    5. A-Team

    Cable Shows
    1. The Wire
    2. Entourage
    3. Mad Men
    4. Sopranos
    5. Californication

    Reality/Variety
    1. In Living Color
    2. Deadliest Catch
    3. American Chopper (before Vin and Cody left)
    4. SNL (a lot of crap has come from them but their best stuff is priceless)
    5. Mythbusters
  6. Good call. I'll drop Who's the Boss off my list and replace it with 24.
  7. 1. The Office
    2. The Wonder Years
    3. Even Stevens
    4. Saved by the Bell
    5. Lost...if it ends well
  8. wow, i categorize too much for just a top 5. whoever said shield was right, that show was awesome.

the top 5 shows i watch right now:

    1) lost
    2) entourage
    3) family guy
    4) the office
    5) how i met your mother

(30 rock probably belongs in there somewhere and i'm not sure if scrubs still counts for being on the air but it would be #4 if so.)

    all time sitcoms:
i qualify that these shows must be off the air and had a run of at least 4 seasons (so no arrested development and such) and in some way have their place in TV history secure.

    1) all in the family
    2) cosby show
    3) seinfeld
    4) cheers
    5) MASH
  9. Cheers
    Star Trek
    Barney Miller
    Columbo
    The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour
  10. The Three Stooges, any episode, no further discussion necessary.
