Thanks DRC for listing Roger Hodgson. I knew I was going to forget a few from the 50 I listed overall, and he was damn good. Pure lilting voice.
1. Freddie Mercury - Queen 2. Robert Plant - Led Zeppelin 3. Elvis 4. Peter Cetera - Chicago 5. Axl Rose - GnR 6. Steve Walsh - Kansas 7. Eddie Vedder - Pearl Jam 8. Chris Cornell - Soundgarden 9. John Lennon - The Beatles 10. Maynard James Keenan - Tool/A Perfect Circle 11. Paul McCartney - The Beatles 12. Ann Wilson - Heart 13. John Fogerty - CCR 14. Layne Stale - Alice in Chains 15. David Gilmour - Pink Floyd 16. Don Henley - The Eagles 17. Kurt Cobain - Nirvana 18. Rod Stewart 19. Jim Morrison - The Doors 20. Brian Wilson - The Beach Boys
Chris Cornell and Layne Staley are probably my two favorites, then all of the others just fall in line behind them.
From StadiumSalute's list: 10. Maynard James Keenan - Tool/A Perfect Circle Dammit, I knew I was gonna forget one. He would be in my top 20 for sure, probably top 10. Unreal voice. Also, how could I miss: David Clayton-Thomas - Blood Sweat & Tears Definitely top 20 for me.
Chuck Negron is another who could easily be on someones list for top 20. His voice is distinct and POWERFUL.
