Good list........ http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/footba...k-3512/2016;_ylt=Aimo2mN4pR48.yrZU6t1VnpGPZB4
Interesting that La and Tx both with 10 on that list. Figured more out of Tx. Florida is deep, 17 I think.
As for star ratings, it has been reported that both Super Bowl teams didn't have a 5* player in the two deeps. Average stars of each team, Hawks 2.4 and Pats 2.3
Even more interesting, I was listening to a show a while back and they were saying odds of being drafted for a 5* was like 2/1, 4* about 10/1 and when you get to 3 it was like 50/1
No. 1 CB visiting Baton Rouge Shea Dixon - 113 minutes ago LSU will host their second junior day of the month this weekend, this time opening the doors to some of the staff's top targets from outside of Louisiana. On Tuesday, five-star cornerback Saivion Smith confirmed that he would make the drive from Florida to Louisiana to visit LSU on Saturday, giving the Tigers the ability to host one of the nation's Top 5 overall prospects regardless of position. The IMG Academy standout is already ranked by 247Sports as the No. 1 prospect in Florida for the 2016 class. The Tigers pulled the trigger with an offer in late January, and Smith's 247Sports Crystal Ball currently favors Florida State with 79-percent of the predictions in thus far. LSU should be able to make a big splash at defensive back in the 2016 class, with heavy interest already coming in from a handful of the nation's top-ranked cornerback and safety prospects.
This guy committed over a month ago and after looking at his video, I thought it was a total joke the way this guy was rated/not rated at all by some. I said at the time this guy is minimum a medium 4* and to be honest, he might end up a 5*. This guy is about as good as you will see for a HS OL....huge...very quick...pulls well...and just pancakes everyone. Finally, one of the services got off their lazy ass and actually watched some video of this guy as Rivals shot him up for not even ranked to #112 in their rankings. http://sports.yahoo.com/lsu/football/recruiting/player-Donavaughn-Campbell-162732 http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2603111/highlights/208119375/v2 (highlights)
LSU's press for 5-stars Shea Dixon - 5 hours ago The LSU staff has the chance to not only push for the No. 1 recruiting class in the country for 2016, but also potentially land more five-star prospects than any other program. While there is plenty of talent here in Louisiana for the Tigers to choose from, there is also a ton of interest coming from elite prospects outside the state - highlighted by a handful of five-star prospects. "LSU is the early favorite to sign the most five-stars," said 247Sports national director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong. "Les Miles and Co. are considered the leader for the country’s No. 1 outside linebacker Keion Joyner and the country’s No. 2 defensive tackle Edwin Alexander. Every year there has to be a five-star battle between Alabama and LSU, and the first one of the cycle looks like New Orleans (La.) John Curtis offensive tackle Willie Allen. The Tigers hold the slight 247Sports Crystal Ball lead over the Crimson Tide at this juncture. "The Tigers are also looking to dip into the Lone Star State for a pair of five-stars. Defensive tackle Ed Oliver could end up a Tiger, with Texas and Texas A&M trying to keep him home, while the No. 1 safety in America, Eric Monroe, is another LSU-Aggies battle. While Monroe could head to an SEC rival, Texas A&M appears to be the top school for Nacogdoches (Texas) High safety Brandon Jones, the No. 2 safety in the USA. Another safety, the No. 3 ranked player at his position in Manvel (Texas) High standout Deontay Anderson, is a recruiting battle the Aggies are currently favored over LSU for." And then there are the fringe prospects who could move into five-star status at some point over the next year, including LSU leans like Kristian Fulton, Ed Oliver and Rashard Lawrence, as well as current commitment Feleipe Franks. With six commitments already on board, here's a closer look at the five-star prospects from the 2016 class that LSU is now in the mix for.
there is one important ingredient that the star system doesn't include and it is an intangible I like to call HEART. It encompasses a lot of things rolled into 1. Attitude, Work Ethic, Leadership, guts, and many more. Star Ratings measure the Physical capability of performance.
