I wasn't talking about here, Beldar. But, since you brought it up, I have never seen such a display of moaning and groaning and whining and crying as the last couple days over a few losses by the baseball team. The part about no curfew and players whooping it up on weekends actually made me laugh at loud. A lot of so called fans here are like a bunch of old women gossiping over tea and cakes. Flag this post because I'm going to refer to it in June. LSU will put it together, play in and win a regional and win a Super Regional. They are in a slump, hittingwise, like they get into every year. The SEC west is packed like a can of sardines and no one will run away with it. Express disappointment in the way the season is going, but, for crying out loud, give the gnashing of teeth a rest.
I don't give much of a crap about baseball, but I do enjoy posting messages making fun of the "that's baseball" attitude after 3 straight series L's. I'm glad that you feel so superior to everyone here. Why don't you start SabanFan's Forums where you can chat with cajdav1 and all of the other LSU "fans" who don't actually give a rat's ass whether the team wins or loses and just make posts deriding those who do. We have NEVER won a super regional that did not take place at the Box. Are you saying that we will finish top 8 in the country? After 3 straight series L's? Care to put your money where your mouth is?
I care a lot about how LSU does. I'm just not a big baby about it. It's a playoff. Don't have to be top 8 in a ranked sense. Just have to play our way in. And, yes, I do think it can and will happen. It's called a positive attitude, but, if the whiners want to sit in a corner and pout, go ahead.
You are one crazy old man! Just last year another "powerhouse" had a dismal start to the season. Cal State Fullerton started their season off 15-16. You know what happened to that horrible team?!??! They won the college world series! Oh wait.... DOH! You are not so crazy after all! Still old though!
That's the best line ever. ie "I don't have anything that I can say at this time to right the ship, and either A) the team will turn it around and changes won't have to be made or B) it'll be a few weeks later in the season and no one will remember I said i'd state what changes need to be made. Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes: Before you criticize someone, you must first walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you do criticize someone, you'll be a mile away (and have their shoes).
