Wow, what a colossally stupid move on the part of Auburn. He would have turned that team around in no time. Not likely to get a marginal talent to come in to the SEC buzz saw, and a real talented coach will demand the $. Heck, Tub's buyout is $6 million paid out within a year. Auburn could be off the grid for a couple of years now. What a bunch of morons.
Also, does this (pending a hire) make Ole Miss possibly the third best team in the West (foreseeable future)?
Dumb Move.............they need to remember it's Auburn, and he was a damn good football coach. If he goes to Clemson, they dominate the ACC. On a personal note, I am happy, because he played us consistantly tougher than anyone.

Agreed. There have been a number of threads lately that have been moved out of the den that IMO should have stayed there. Seems like if a thread doesn't have LSU in the title it gets moved.:nope:
