And who would you have interviewed that was better than Oeaux that would have gotten the job? Halgorsen, Fleck, Fedora, Gundy? Other than Chris Petersen who wasn't interested there was nobody past Jimbo and Herman and I'm not sure Herman would be any better. He can motivate his team for the big games but not for the teams he is suppose to beat (Navy, SMU, Memphis) Hell, a cadaver could motivate a team for Alabama but would Herman have had the team ready for R Kansas and aTm? Would Guice have run the right way if Boy Wonder Herman had been the coach? To interview a coach just to say you considered multiple candidates would just be a waste of time.
