If his name isn't Miles, kind of a home run. Hope either Joe guessed right or he gets fired when it goes wrong.
I loved Miles and defended him longer than I should have, but I knew it was time for him to go (it was time LAST year.). That being said, it was time for him to go--but how do we fire him and end up with our interim coach, after interviewing only three dudes? We look ridiculous. ETA: Herman would have been a gamble, and if he was really asking for Saban-style money, well, then, he doesn't deserve that yet. But I guess Texas (or Oregon) is going to pay it. We can only hope that O can be successful...but put me in the highly skeptical camp.
It already went wrong. You don't fire a NC coach two months ago and replace him with a guy with the record O has. Alleva must go. Oh...and the cameraman at Gameday is laughing at us now.
