considering a couple playoff runs earns that money right back for the school, it's closer to pocket change than you think. Miles is reportedly the front runner for the Purdue gig. if they pay him the same they paid their last coach ($1.75 a year) on a 5 year deal, LSU owes Miles $0. the next head coach can volunteer to work for free and TAF will find a reason to raise the fees.
Sorry guys I just dont agree with dropping the bank at jimbo's doorstep. I don't think he is worth it, again I hope he comes here and makes $aban his bitch. I don't see it happening.
Some people just don't get it and never will. You can't eat filet mignon a hamburger budget. Go cheap and you get McFootball. Not pocket change to you and me. Pocket change for the money boys who will be footing the bills
people said the same thing when we hired Saban. Fisher has a better resume right now than Saban did when Bama hired him, let alone when we did. we made Saban a top 3 paid coach in the country. that's what Fisher would be if the numbers we're hearing are accurate.
Really? who said that? I think we were in a state of decline when saban was hired and he had to bring us back up. The state of the program is a FAR cry compared to what saban got. Still think we are overpaying.
You're not all wrong, but you're not all right either. I can understand the pros and cons of multiple positions.
