To those of you that think USC deserves a share of the title.

I love hearing the argument that the only reason USC is not in the title game is thanks to Boise St. and Syracuse winning. Excuse me, but I believe USC lost in overtime to an unranked Cal earlier in the season. Coulda, woulda, shoulda...I'm tired of all the debate. Sure, that's what makes this whole thing exciting and give us something to talk about, but complaining about it isn't going to change the fact that its OU vs. LSU for the national championship.

Boise St. and Syracuse winning put LSU over the top. But the real issue is: OU losing by 28 points in early December should have dropped them, by any measured factor, out of the BCS championship game. Pure and simple.

When you lose and how you lose should be more important factors than a computer formula that still thinks OU is the best.

That's why the human polls have it right and the BCS is wrong.

    Either way LSU is in.

I the phonies from the left coast wins, lets have a 1 game championship and have them slaughtered by the winner of the
    Sugar Bowl.

When USC loses big to Michigan the BCS will be correct. Trust me, this will happen, and the winner of the Sugar Bowl will be the champion, the BCS champion, the AP No. 1 and the Coaches No. 1. The loser of the Sugar Bowl will be No. 2. Michigan will be No. 3 and Pete Carroll can go eat a worm.

    Couldn't be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$?

    Say it ain't soooooooooooooo!;)

In 10 years ... College FB will resemble WWF Championship wrestling ... if this Pete Carroll gets away with HIS CRAP.

THAT'S WHY THOSE AP VOTERS WILL CHOOSE LSU #1.

Could you imagine a future scenario with 3 coaches like the one Trev Alberts had with Saban, Carroll & Stoops (sounds like a Law firm) ...

where two or all three coaches get to JAWING & ARGUING & TALKING ALL KINDS OF CRAP ...

    and then ... it happens

One loses it ... the breakdown of Civility and Professionalism ... and goes WOODROW HAYES on another coach ... in the ensuing melee on National TV ... and the follow-up media storm ... they'd all be wondering how something like this could have ever happened ... THE STAKES ARE GETTING HIGHER EACH YEAR.

No offense to anyone, but this argument is getting soo tiresome. I don't think anyone disputes LSU's invitation. If they do, it's a weak point of view that's easily refuted. It's OU's invite that's created all the controversy. I whole-heartedly agree that they are very talented and have a shot at beating us. But to lose WHEN they did and HOW they did (28 points) casts alot of doubt on their invitation and although they won't admit it, I think alot of OU fans feel the same way. If LSU and USC both win, of course USC will be the media darlings, but again, I think it will be a very easy argument to win as to why LSU should be the consensus NC. As for USA Today publishing the coaches votes even though the No. 1 spot on their ballots is already filled out, it doesn't matter. No one will remember that in the future.

The LSU D is fearsome enough without having to pull foreign objects out of their pants when the refs aren't looking.
