since this thread i was robbed and beaten and choked out, and robbed another time after a crash, and another time an attempted mugging.

But I will say that if you are carrying an open piece and you get robbed and it got took, you probably deserve to get beat up.

nah i actually enjoyed it, it was in mexico. some dude grabbed me from behind and choked me out while another guy punched me. i was glad it happened, it was fun. life is for living.

carrying an open gun in the US and even in dangerous place like BTR seems pointless. i am white and the crime is almost all black on black. occasionally a white person gets some, but rarely.

guns are good for home defense, carrying seems like overkill
