Being around football and seeing alot of qb play it seems pocket presence is something you either have or dont as an instinct.

If brennan has plenty of time he will succeed. But he panicked in the pocket and looked like a chicken with his head cut off. He started panicking before he even had any pressure on some occasions.

And he is slower than Joe was so he cant get away.

Oline is weaker just a simple fact for many reasons.

Team is weaker even though their is still alot of talent on this team.

Im not really complaining because no team even bama could withstand the losses of underclassmen and opt outs we have had.

I have confidence coach O will turn it around its just not going to be this year.

Looked so much better tonight. Still some fixables, but everyone should feel much better about him, imo.

Hey let’s give Sista Golden Hair some credit. Tonight he didn’t look like he was wetting himself.

Looked much better last night. Most of what was wrong can be fixed, some of it will go away with experience and playing together more. What can't be fixed will have to be coached around. This team will be better next year.
BTW- We need to kill Mizzou.

I feel two major flaws are holding BJ back.
    1. His hesitance to go with his gut on first open read.
    2. His attempt to put touch on medium throws instead of rifling it like he used too.

I think both of these are byproducts of ill fitted coaching. He doesnt have the pocket presence or the inate running ability of BJ but is being coached as such. The solution is give him less time to think and just execute quickly. Negating 2 issues above and the deficiencies in line play, receiver drops not withstanding.
