I was one of the many fans that left after the interception at the 7:30 mark in the 4th quarter. I go to school full time and work a full time job. My time is much more valuable (especially with the Cubs in the playoffs) for me to have wasted anymore of my time on such a lacklaster performance. Saban wants to blast the media and the fans for how crappy the team played.....I don't think so. He was never in the game himself, much less the fans. Don't get me wrong, I love Saban but everybody has an off day. But don't sit there and tell me that I'm a fairweather fan just because I leave early. Show me some effort and determination and I'll stick around to the very end!

Anyone who left with 7:30 minutes left in the game, especially after the Colts-Bucs game that Monday, are IMO stupid. Seven and a half minutes are an eternity in a college football game. With the clock stopping on first downs, a TD drive can easily take under a minute. Those that left early could have missed one of the greatest comebacks in Tiger history. Alot of fans probably left after UK kicked a fieldgoal last year, and they missed the most improbable play in LSU history.

First time for me to post, but this struck a nerve.

I left early because there was no way in hell they were coming back, they looked terrible. If you wanted to stay, great.
But are you any better of a fan than someone who left early with the game clearly over? Get over yourself. Some fans leave early EVERYWHERE when they think the game is over, thats the way it is and will always be.

With that said, the season isnt over. We can still have a great season. It should be a fun ride.

Amen HTOWN! This "real" fan stuff is bogus. If one Tiger fan is going to call out other tiger fans for not being "real" then we have more things to worry about than our running game and Mauck's dental career. I left bc. my kids were antsy and I didn't see any point in prolonging the agony. How am I any less of a fan?!?!? Do we need to list our credentials under our sigs now??? "Oh, Tiger Daddy, I see you drove 18 hrs straight with two kids in a Tahoe to Omaha...your a real fan...oops! I see you left early against FU...tsk tsk.":cuss: :cuss: :cuss:

There weren't many "real" fans in 95??? when we lost to S. Miss. I was sitting in the South endzone all by myself! I had my feet on the row in front of me and leaning back on the row behind me and NO ONE was around.
I only left one game early. the N.D. game. It was too cold and I had about a 2 mile walk to my car. I pay too much money to watch the game. I want to get my money's worth. Plus, I don't want to give the opposing fans any ammunition and reason to taunt us.
I don't mind people leaving early, it makes the drive home faster for me!
