Folks are taking this personally. Everyone has a reason for staying or going. Life, Liberty and the pursuit of that what turns you on (within certain legal guidelines...) Overall, in general, en masse, it's disheartening to see the stadium empty out like that during the current era of LSU football. The coaches and players have proven time and again that they aren't quitting. Would be nice to see more of the fans return the sentiment. Of course, traffic, booze-low-lights, etc all play their roles. But. whatever. Some leave early. I huddle around my laptop and wish I could be shaking my head at those leaving early in person instead of warm and toasty on my sofa. Free country.
Newbie whiner? Because I don't post 100 times a day on this board I am a "newbie whiner?" What exactly is a "newbie whiner" oh verteran of internet forums? Although I didn't play college ball, I would consider myself more than just a casual fan. I love watching the game, dissecting the play calling, and analyzing the game. I am also a realist and will call a spade a spade. Is our co defensive coordinator scheme working...not at all. Refer to the post going on here where I point out that if two are accountable, then no one is accountable. If Miles did not have the confidence to make one of them the D coordinator, then neither should have their hands on the defense. EVERYBODY on here (that are realists) predicted two or three loses this year. Some are disappointed in the "half a hundred" which has happened twice, myself included. We can all agree that is inexcusable and should not happen at LSU. We are better than that and the problem is not talent, it is in preparation. Having an opinion about the coaching, playcalling, etc. is one thing. Walking out on your team is another deal all together. I make it a point to stay until the end, win or lose. I guess all of you do not share the same sentiment. Unfortunately, this type of support (or lack there of) has led to a national perception about LSU fans that is all over ESPN, talk radio, etc. It is sad because we have one of the most passionate fan bases of any sports team on the planet, but that same passion works in the wrong way some times. I'm sure this response will lead to a flame throwing being unleashed in my direction but so be it. Second guess anything and everything, but don't ever second guess support of your team in victory or defeat! Geaux Tigers!!!

Re-read my post. No where in it did i call you a newbie whiner. i was making a point about what happens when some people point out some troubling things about the team. Had nothing to do with you.

Are you saying that no one that went to the game thought it would be cold? They don't catch the weather channel? come prepared. they left because we were losing....not because of the cold.
