You shoulda made her drink that cinnamon schnaps, that stuff warms you up all over, I drank it one time when I thought I was freezing, I then thought I needed to take some stuff off, I got so warm drinking that stuff, and it was good too:lol:
I could see the logic being that we were breaking in so many inexperienced people tonight (Jefferson, BTaylor, PJones, etc), that we had no chance at coming back, as if Les had thrown in the towel. And who in their right mind could think Lee could turn it around with as little confidence as he probably had coming out of the half.
In defense of what LSU fans have dealt with this year I would hardly describe the frustration of what is on this board as "bandwagon". This win tonight was good but certainly leaves people just as confused as they were when the game started. They have no idea what kind of LSU team they have. It's pretty easy to say support your team win or lose when they come back and win a game that should have never been close to start with. LSU fans have every right to wonder what caused the effort put forth in the 1st half tonight...................too many mistakes were the same ones made in every loss this year.
I get it, but for me the logic was overruled by just a little faith. I just as easily could have changed the channel and watched a meltdown in the game thread, but I always see it through, good or bad. Just my opinion.
I completely agree. I have just been frustrated with JL making the same mistakes against good and bad teams. Our Defense is not taking up the slack like we are used to. You just don't know what to expect this year. I was working until right when the 4th quarter started. I was happy we were making the comeback but I was thinking to myself "Troy really deserves this win more than us".
I have remarked about this numerous times. When I had season tickets I never left the stadium so much as a minute early. Coach Miles had some very nice words for those loyal fans who stayed until the end. I hope those who left early cry themselves to sleep tonight.
I agree with what you say about the right of fans not to be happy with the way the Tigers played. But any true Tiger fan will stick by the Tigers when things are not going so well. Any fan can support a team when it is winning all their games and playing well. No bragging rights there. But any fan who bleeds Purple and Gold will not walk out on the Tigers just because things are not going their way.
