Ok I'll go SLOW for you then. Never said or called out people with a different opinion, my post was to the ones that never have anything good to say about our coach or about our players. LSU is getting alot of national respect, but we have "fans" that are nothing but negitive and can't enjoy a win or a hell of a season. If that makes me a jackass so be it.......but you can stuff that right up your ass. :wink:
You said this EXACT same post in the past. Can't you pull anything else out of your noggin?? Miles just like Coker?! Let's see....ugh, none of our players have been involved in shootings....we were in one brawl (but that was started by the same Coker-coached Miami team). ...ugh...and Miles hasn't recruited players with a rap sheet longer than their highlight films.
Does your keyboard have an Enter button? Just messing with ya. And your right questioning does turn to bashing, but only by those that planned to turn it into bashing in the first place. The problem I see in your post is that there has to be 2 sides either your koolaid drinking or your a whiner, and on this board that is not the case. The reason there are other opinions and there are people here that enjoy debating them is what makes this forum GREAT! But how great will it remain if every single person that has a different opinion gets the flamer treatment? There are a share of idiots on this board trust me, after the Tenn loss last year I almost threw my computer out the window at the post that were being posted. And if you are able to weed through those certain posters that come on here to own incite angry, you can find some great debates and different opinions. Look at the other sections of the forum, places that for the most part are idiot free, FSA and the Roundtable. Two places were opinions are as different as night and day, and yes it does get heated sometimes, but nothing as bad as what we see going on in the Den. We have a great group of posters here and this board was my ownly link to LSU while in AIT and I would not change any of it, even the idiots. I dont know where this is going because I could type at least 2 more pages on this subject, so I will end it here. Ok here, To me the defintion of a TRUE Fan is the fan that wants the best for his team, while supporting the Team at the same time. If we dont question when we see problems that leads to complancy (sp) Maybe a bad example but I think it fits. Personal I do not think Pres. Bush has done a great job in office, and I question alot of what he does. BUT he is still the leader of this country that I love and will support him as long as he is in office.
Weither it was to bashers or anyone else it was tasteless. Would you be so quick to make that post if perhaps you had someone in your life or even a family member commit suicide? I have no problem with you "bashing" the bashers, just with the comments that were used. I bashed your comments and did not feel the need to bring up that subject.
There are alot of gutless red givers on the board now. When i give red i want you to know who it was that disagreed with you enough to give red. So I Sign My Name To It. Green or Red you should do it. . At least thats my philosophy.

It is very confusing to come here sometimes and try to figure out who is and who is not a LSU! fan. It appears to me that others think that you can not be a LSU! fan if you have a opinion that is different than others. And that is ok with me because you are entitled to your opinion. But here is my opinion. I am and will ALWAYS be a :lsup: fan, if :lsup: loses a game, I will still wake up the next morning and I will still be a LSU! fan. Sure I would be dissapointed, but I will still wear my purple and gold with pride. I really don't care who the coach is, I am a :helmet: fan, regardless of who coaches the team. I think that the coach has to be good, and he has to be able to control his team. I hope that people here understand what I am trying to say. I am not bashing no one, I just want people here to know that no matter what, I am and will always be a :tigerhead fan.
Some people are just "glass half empty" types. No matter the circumstances, they always see the negatives and not the positives. I don't really have a problem with them, that's just their personality. I can deal with these kind of people ... they are Tiger fans. The posters I have a problem with are those who only show up here after a loss. It's almost like they secretly hope we lose so they can show up and say I told you so. Here we are about to be invited to the Rose Bowl to play Michigan ... two things that has never happened in our history ... and they are nowhere to be found. But watch them show up if we lose to Michigan.
I guess I'm a little hard on Miles, but I was the same with Saban. If we make the Rose Bowl and play a good game I will feel very satisfied with Miles despite some of his shortcomings. When it comes down to it, every coach is going to have his shortcomings. Ohio St's coach is well respected and I imagine I'd be complaining about his conservative offense. As much as I hate to admit it, Petey Carroll has done wonders at USC. I'm sure he makes mistakes - he definitely has had some close games against mediocre opponents. So, I think all of the haters have to realize that Miles has accomplished some good things in his two years here, and LSU is no worse off than when Saban left. We are still a nationally respected program. I'm looking forward to seeing where we are headed and to bowl season in general. A playoff wouldn't diminish my excitement, either. LSU might actually even make a playoff. Anyway, geaux tigers and sec. And to the bballers, beat Tulane.
That is the problem with the red/green system. Someone should not get red just because they have a different of opinion then ourself. That is what makes this board great, the ability to debate things. The rep system is more for newbie posters to show who they can trust when getting info from. They only time I give red out is when someone is being a jackass, not for a different opinion.
