I have to strongly agree with Golden Tiger in this thread. Miles is the first coach in LSU history to have back to back 10 win seasons. Miles has this program going in the right direction and is bringing in the recruits to keep it a successful program. He called a great game against Arkansas today and people who think he should have gone for it on fourth down with a little over two minutes left with the number one defense in the nation dont know much about football. Arkansas was forced to throw and they have not been able to throw all year much less this game. We would be blessed to have JR come back for one more season because the schedule is set for a National Title run next season. Lets give Miles some credit for having another GREAT season with the Tigers. Congrats to Miles and all of the LSU Tigers. Lets hope we get an At Large BCS bid.

Its one thing to bash and its another to question. And for the Marine here I will go slow with this.

Does Miles desever to be bashed?

NO, not no but HELL NO. The guy came into a really bad situation and handled it better then the government. He had a very good year this season, He won the games we were suppose to and lost the ones we were suppose to lose.

Does Miles desever to be questioned?

Yes, well not yes but HELL YES!!! When you have a stable of running backs that could go and start anywhere else and you cant pick 1 and stick with him, then coaching tactics need to be questioned. When we get a lead on a good opp. and we all of a sudden start playing NOT TO LOSE, then coaching tactics need to be questioned.

Will Miles system work in the SEC, only time will tell, my personal opinion I dont think it will. I hope that I am proven wrong, I would like nothing more then to see him strive at LSU and become a Legend at LSU, I just dont think his style fits the SEC style of play.

Fans like you are just as bad as the fans that only show up during a lose to bitch and complain without adding anything meaniful to the conversation.

People arent upset about not going for it on fourth down, people are upset me play NOT TO LOSE, instead of Playing to win.

Why wait until 3rd down to call the QB keeper on the last series, WHY RUN THE BALL WHEN ARK PUTS 10 PEOPLE IN THE BOX?!?!

But I guess I just dont know anything about football.

I saw a lot of kids playing and contributing today that are "Miles" recruits. Keiland Williams and Richard Dickson come to mind. Saban started this great run we are on and Miles is keeping it going. Recruiting is going great, we only lose about 10 players for next year and we have a very favorable schedule. If JR comes back, we should start preseason top 5. I am very happy with the way the program is being run now and have been since Saban took over. This is the GOLDEN age of Tiger football, please enjoy. If you cannot enjoy this, look back in recent history of the 90's and you will see the DARK ages of Tiger football. We are 61-16 this decade. Relax and savor the respect that our program has. I can remember getting drilled by teams like Ole Piss, Moo U and other weak sisters of the poor. :)

You're the last two standing. Hang in there, boys. LSU may just have a bad year somewhere down the road and you can jump for joy. In the meantime, the other 10 million or so of us are having a ball. Enjoy your misery.:dis:

You're stupidity never ceases to amaze me. When did I say anything about a bad year. Did you actually read what I said "exactly" to? You can question a coach or player and still be a fan. You have no ****ing clue how much I bleed purple and gold.
