And the truth comes out.... that's why you're not, or will EVER be an LSU fan Scrap. NO offense at all, but that's the difference between LSU fans and... you. We live and die with our team(s), but I don't ever recall crying like a weenie (pun intended,) because I know we're LSU and we'll be back. I hate to say it, but Tulane's luck couldn't last forever... We saw the TRUE tulane team in the CWS, all their ups and downs, threTRUE TEAM I tell ya!

Gentlemen, gentlemen, I think we're all missing the point here. In order for this guy to write a sappy, sad post about the team losing and how it made him  he actually has to be passionate about Tulane baseball.

Seeing such a passionate tulane fan in his lowest hour makes me think this:

    1) There's one more true tulane fan than i thought. I think the grand total is up to ......uuhhhhhh.......... one.... now. I mean c'mon I didn't think anyone could care this deeply about tulane. He must be one of the hundreds of fans that go to football games in the dome.

2)Don't think for a second that they don't feed off of our pain and misery. They do.

    3) I don't think it's a coincidence that these icons are green..

I used to not pay any mind to tulane b/c they were below us. But since the emergence of their baseball team and the rescheduling of the football rivalry they are back on my radar.

Five time, five time, five time,.....LSU! :tigbas: :champs: :champs: :champs: :champs: :champs:

Nah. Flair's thing is 'WOOOOO!' DDP's was 'It's a good thing!' Bookers' are 'Five time, five time, five time' and 'Can you dig it, sucka?!' :)

you know, what this man posted was nothing wrong. He was shopwing support for his team. He was also showing passion for his team. It was a very emotional time for the players on any team that gets eliminated and tears flow anytime someone loses out from the playoffs (even big bad LSU players and fans cry at those times...like some did this year after the Rice game).

It's a shame we don't have more fans like him at every school that support his team win or lose. Too many fans support there team only when they win, and bash them when they lose.

I remember in 1998 when UMASS was beating NSU 41-31 with under a minute left in the game (national semi-finals) and the entire crowd starting chanting "NSU". I don't think I've ever been as proud to be a Demon as I was then. Our crowd could have left (as many stadiums empty in the closing moments of a loss). But they stayed and supported the team till the end.

Your not a "true" fan of any school or team if you only show up for the good times. The true fans support the teams through the losses also.

And If you think kicking someone like that when there already down makes you a "true" Tiger fans or makes a real rivalry, then you've missed the whole point of a "true" Tiger fan and the point of a rivalry completely.

you're not going to find more diehard fans here, but I don't think anyone would post **** like that...

Did anyone stop to think that maybe the Greenie fan that wrote that was a female?

I throw that thought out there because we all know that females can be a bit emotional. Just a thought from a member of the emotional sex.
