I am more than a bit disturbed by everyone's repeated jabs at Jefferson. Did I miss something? This kid is an LSU Tiger. Not just ON the LSU Tiger football team. Since when do we hate on, and wish ill of our fellow Tigers? If proved innocent should he be allowed back onto the team? Yes. Does that mean start? No.

Did I miss something? I thought what YOU say here is pretty much the gist of what everyone else said. We feel bad about his situation, want him cleared and back on team. We don't want him on the field though.

Excuse us if we're tired of wanting to see a game without our azzholes being puckered up enough to suck a lemon every time the ball is snapped.

I didn't read it either but I do know the team wants JJ back and still very much rallying around him. I don't think he coming back will happen any time soon if he does come back. Don't think he will start or play very much this year too. But it could be a huge spark to the team as a rallying point if he rejoined toward the end of the season and crunch time.

There isn't a teammate of his that doesn't want him back with the team.

Great point B. How the team sees it and what they want is much more important than our petty ideas.

Also I don't believe he did what he is charged with and has been much more the victim than the D bag accuser. If & when he gets back I would guess he will have much to do to get back in shape & up to speed.

Let's let things take their course and trust in Les to do the right thing. :geaux:

If and when Jefferson comes back..I really doubt he plays any meaningful time ….think about it,the kid would not have practiced for months. Do you really think Coach is going to put him on the field and let him be the QB for the #1 LSU Tigers football team?

I think LSU so far this year is doing better than they did last year and they beat Bama last year.

I think most people agree with him being allowed back on the team or red shirting. The problems are with whether he should play. I say that is highly detrimental to the chemistry of this team. I wouldn't mind a few designed plays that included Jefferson though.

We have thrown a touchdown pass in every game. Lee is passing at a high % rate. Were doing well. Other teams will have to respect lees throwing now after the state game and not stack the box as much. Lee is the starter. To pull him out will Frick him up and we will lose. Sorry jj but it's over.
