This offense is more than capable of beating Bama with JL. Where were you at last time we played Bama being swept out of O'Sheas?
Well , I managed to read it like a Chinese newspaper because of my ethnic background! I would only be excited about JJ as the starter if he can pass just as well as he runs, or pass as well as JL; but he's not. Yes, we lose out on the option play without JJ; but option plays can be stopped cold by a well trained defense, as the LSU defense has shown. Either way, whoever the QB is, it will be a tough battle against Bama; the LSU offense hopefully will have fully opened up its playbook by then.
The last couple of seasons we had a ton of nail biting games that came down to the last few seconds. Some of them shouldn't have been nail biting. JJ was the starter. This year JL is the starter and so far we have beat everyone by at least two scores. I'm not saying we wouldn't have with JJ. But it is something that makes me go hummm.
