far from ugly. conservative because we were on the road in the sec with a qb thats proven he may kill you if you let him. once he proved he was ok and they needed him, we let him loose. and he delivered. game. set. match. we wont be so conservative the more we build confidence (we=coaches and jl). if we are then we risk games being close and one mistake allows a worse team to beat you. Was 9-6 well into the 4th.
At this point you may have to take what you can get. There are no bad seats in the stadium. Even the upper decks have a good view of the field.
I'm shopping for a single ticket, so I do have a reasonable amount of options, at reasonable prices. I'll definitely be happy when I have the ticket in my hands.
Many people can't make the day after thanksgiving game. There will be extra tickets for sale outside the stadium.
HEY! Russnrvr's post got derailed! Is a great post too! "Ware and Tear" That's a new one for me; THAT is gonna catch on. If you coined that one--bravo!
Anyone else thinking of Michigan football in the 1960s and 1970s?? If you are too young to remember, you are seeing a pretty good imitation of it now. ldskule:
While digesting what I saw LSU do last night and trying to assess what to admire and what to constructively criticize (wouldnt mind a few more passes on first down) I was comforted by this realization... regardless of whether they are too conservative in some people's eyes or *insert critique here* or whatever, this team does exactly what they are told to do. They execute. Its not as if they are really sputtering. They are dominating and enforcing their will on both sides by just straight up execution and nastiness. Gonna be a fun season to watch.
I have to admit, while watching the game , it "felt" ugly; afterwards, after letting the whole game sink in, it morphed into a "beauty"!
