2nd in the west exceeds (by far) the definition of competitive. I think StaceyO's definition of competitive is very close to what I expect in the future. By the future, I mean next year. If we're not on that path by then, I may change my tune. The other thread about Brady's "defeatist" attitude may have some credence. I'm still mulling over that one. It's never good for a coach to concede losses like that. I want to say he's trying to give his team the "nothing to lose" feeling and not panic because of this losing streak. The important games are going to be Ole Miss and Auburn. We need our confidence level to be high for those games.
2nd in the west in BB gets you in the tournaments. 2nd in the west in football & you don't even get to play for the SEC Championship. I think we should expect more from Brady.
