You know it's odd, Les had balls to let Jarrett Lee sling it in that game for a huge first down deep in LSU territory in that game, late that ran more clock and sealed the deal. But he doesn't let Mettenberger pass on 3rd and 7 in Bama territory to seal the game in 2012.

Pocic leaving wouldn't bother me much. We've always been able to churn out offensive lineman. If Beckwith goes, that will hurt, but I'm hoping he stays. I disagree with the D-line depth. I think Godchaux, LaCouture, and Herron are all legit DTs that didn't play hard enough. If you look at the DL play against A&M(and really the whole defense for that matter), it was stellar. It was also the first time all year that we really rolled guys in and out at those positions. Herron disrupted a number of plays and Key and Neal consistently got to the QB. I think it's been a matter of motivation with these guys.

I'm confident in Harris because of his performance prior to the 'Bama game. He was consistently playing at an A- to A level. For an example, take a look at the Florida game. He fell apart down the stretch, but that doesn't concern me because I see the potential is there. If he has lost his confidence for good, then we are in trouble, but I think by the time the next season rolls around, the slate will be clean, and hopefully he will have a much better defense.

I'm not sure draft projections for Pocic, but he is the last OL I'd want to lose. He was by far and away our best OLman all year. I remember watching a play against aTm, where he sprinted out all the way across the field. He hustles and consistently wins his one on one batter more than any other lineman.

Alexander is being considered a first rounder.

I read that White said he is considering coming back to LSU.

Those are the absolutes for me. If we go 11-1 and simply lose the wrong game so as not to win the SEC West, I won't be upset about that.

If the "1" above is Alabama, that might be OK too. They had a loss in a big rivalry game in 2011 as some of you may recall.

I find it hard to imagine that we would lose to Arkansas and beat everyone else, but if Arkansas is one of two losses, I'm still not going to be satisfied with the season unless 2 losses is good enough for the playoff.

I don't think it needs to be Harris or bust, but we need some reliable QB play from someone.

That's what I have had in mind since before this whole thing happened.

Hire Sean Patterson to come coach ST's with the stipulation that Shea comes to LSU with him. Two problems solved at once. This can be done quickly and easily. Do it Les!

I'm not too worried about interior offensive lineman. Alexander is gone one way or another, but that's not enough to decimate us. If he's all we lose, I'd be ok with that. Pocic is good too, but center isn't that important in my mind, and it's another position we've been able to replace pretty well.

I expected White to come back because he just didn't have a great year in coverage this season. If we get him back, we have a chance to be special on D again. I almost think we are better off in the secondary losing Mills too; he underperformed all year. It all comes down to what team shows up on game day, though.

WHAT?!!!!! You do know that the center touches the ball on every play and call the blocking assignments right? Clapp was supposed to replace Posic this season, but what happened? I hope Clapp steps up next season. He's a good one, but it takes time to learn all that is expected of an SEC center. Not important, that's just insane!

Your center is usually your smartest O lineman. Has lots more responibilies than just blocking his man
