As I posted in another thread some time ago, "we could go 16 and 0 this year and some posters here would still find some thing to bitch about!" I don't give a flying rat's ass how many FGs we kick as long as we're winning. Last year we couldn't make a 20 yard FG, now we have a kicker who can't miss, we should be rejoicing not bitching because we kick too many field goals. Damn!
I kid but get both sides of the argument steve grew up some yesterday and kept attacking. Solid job of keeping the dogs on their heels have to turn fg’s into tds...next chance Saturday It’s a defining victory for the brand and a great day to be an LSU Tiger
This season had “crazy” written all over it from the jump. And it’s far from over. Interesting games remaining for interesting teams: Georgia: Florida, Kentucky and Auburn LSU: State, Bama and A&M A&M: State, Auburn and LSU UF: Georgia, Mizzou, SC and FSU Bama: LSU & Auburn SEC could very well feast on each other before it’s all over. As for other conferences with top teams it’s not as thick, not even close. But that might be my SEC bias. tOSU: Michigan Michigan: tOSU and Penn State Note Dame: maybe USC? Clemson: NC State Texas: West Virginia Oregon: Washington State? Then of course conference championship games. No way for 2 SEC teams this year IMO. With all the chaos it’s hard to tell but it could be cut and dry with 4 undefeated teams in ND, Bama, Clemson and Ohio State. Which doesn’t sound appetizing. We need an 8 team playoff. I’d like to see what the Big 12 champ could do (Tex or OU) or what a 1 loss Oregon could do. I’d like to see what a 2 loss LSU or Georgia could do. Because those 4 teams I mentioned above, have not played a schedule even remotely close to what our Tigers have had to navigate. Also, I usually don’t get too upset over polls, BUT if Texas is sitting at 5 today over LSU, I’ll be pissed. And I hope the Tigers will be too and take it out on the next set of bulldogs
