Starting to think you are the dumbass. The design of the play was to fake the dive and freeze the defense long enough for RB to out run the defense to the outside. So yes, an excellent call by “E”!
Because he acts like it's all OC E. This week the LSU Defense did what it had to do. It wasn't the offense. $ FG's in the red zone.. E needs to be re-evaluated.
Another way to look at it is, 8 trips into the red zone, 8 scores. More TDs would have been great, but we just scored 36 on a defense that was averaging 13. And as far as the defense doing what it had to do, consider this: UGA was averaging better than 9 yards a run in the 1st quarter, but for the most part abandoned the run after that. E's game plan put their's to shame.
I don't usually participate in the game thread because I'm usually cooking and watching the game. But I always skim through it when I have a chance or after the game, and I can't believe some of the hostility I am seeing here. Even after a win, someone always has to complain about SOME thing. Why? They did their best against the no.2 team in the country and came back with a convincing win, and you complain? I admit, I had my doubts going in... call me a dumbass fellas, I figured we would lose this one. I am glad I was wrong. NEVER complain about a win. If they win with field goals or whatever... I'll take it. And the defense didn't win this game alone, that comment was BS. The offense played well today against a very good defense. Obviously the offense has much improved since last week. There were some close calls, near interceptions, and bad decisions... but look at the game again... Georgia made worse decisions. I mean, fake the field goal at the beginning of the first quarter? Really? LMAO. "FAIL". Anyway, a great win at Tiger Stadium and enjoyed every play from my backyard tailgate on the big screen. GEAUX TIGERS!
