I just looked @ Vegas Insider. We are a 14 1/2 point favorite over the Hogs. I'm not sure I like that.

That part about the byweek is something always in back of my mind. Logically they get rested/healed. But emotionally they lose fire, I think. Then there is the frequent Bama hangover. Look for us to struggle against Pigs early before closing out. Maybe theyd be better served resting after gumpfest.

Yeah they've been known to pulled the rug on us before. They're really bad this yr though.

There is definitely the chance to rest and heal. But when you have the momentum of a win over Georgia, and a win over Moo U with Bama looming, it's just too much time to have nothing but practice.

Mentally too, LSU was in a different place for the bye than Bama. It's been a roller coaster that started off with a lot of questions and then nice surprises. Bama has just been a machine since jump. So while I get all the "pump" and circumstance and the Ed "crrazy walk", it wasn't enough to combat the all-business approach coming from Tuscaloosa.

I don't buy it that the bye week affected us. The team was highly motivated goung into the game and the defense lived up to the DBU hype until the extended time on the field wore them out.

I can't say that the offense wasn't motivated. It's just that the Bama D is way better than our O. I could be super motivated as hell to fight Connor McGregor but I would still get the shit beat out of me.

We are soft. Need to recruit killers that can make it home by curfew.
