One would think. But just last week, while walking in the Cambridge mall, I was wearing one of my LSU hats, and it happened to be the yellow hat with the "new" Tiger head....and on the back, "LSU". Well, I was in a store, and the woman behind the counter, looks at my hat 2 or 3 times and says, "I give up! --Is that the wildcats" Wildcats??!?!?!? ....I just looked at her, signed, and then replied, "My thoughts exactly--but it's actually LSU Tigers" :dis:
While I treat our current logo with the reverence it deserves, there are many other ideas that would have been much better. I always think that the Tiger is trying to hug someone. Disappointing to hear that LSU spent so much money on it.
The truth of the matter is that the Tiger in the logo is in fact a homosexual. I think it's great that LSU hired a homosexual feline - it shows the rest of the SEC and the world that Louisiana State University is not a xenophobic stick in the mud. Our logo gives inspiration to homosexual felines all over the world. Just last year Auburn fans were jumping up and down on their way to an undefeated season. What does this mean? It means that it's OK to be gay in the SEC. Male Auburn fans can now stand tall and be proud of their homosexuality - no more big trucks and mullet haircuts to hide what's really inside... Our logo has proven to society that gay kitty cats do have a place in sports - even if they do love to pick out interior window decor and shop for shoes. Being gay, leading the way, and making the crowd yell "yaaaay" is quite OK on a Saturday... Move over you homophobic gators, vols, cocks, wildcats, war eagles, elephants, commodores, razorbacks, bulldogs, and rebels because the LSU logo is coming through. I think you hear him knocking and he's bringing his 4 inch heels and his apple cinnamon martini shaker with him. Our logo is ahead of its time and I'm happy to know that we are blazing the trail on this one. LSU stands for tolerance and diversity, for acceptance and understanding - and if you run into a Tiger Fan who tries to tell you he's not for gay logo rights, just check his hat, shirt, or huggie and you'll know exactly where he stands. Our logo is here, he's queer, and we support his courage. Roar big boy...
WTF!? LOL... Oh well, I really like the new logo. If I had my choice, it'd be the older circle logo that we have on our helmets. The new one, however, is pretty cool. I mean it's fresh and pretty modern. It represents where LSU heading, and what they stand for. It is A LOT better than the crap we have at Nicholls, but I really do like the "N" being pierced by the saber...

The UC Berkeley students have stolen this costume twice in the past 3 years, only to have the Stanfurd Weenies build a replacement. I have heard that Oski, the UC mascot, has tried to pee on the tree..... A TREE, PEOPLE!!!!!! With Rodney's eyes and Mick's lips!!!!!! The only thing worse would be to have a weed, or a fruit (sorry 'Cuse) for a mascot... What a mascot JOKE.
